Common Name: Francis Mason Abelia
Availabilty: Out of Stock ENQUIRE NOW
Abelia grandiflora Francis Mason or the Francis Mason Abelia as it is also more commonly known is a pretty evergreen bearing pink buds and white flowers much of the year. Bright green variegated foliage with interesting red stems makes this a cheery addition to any garden.
With a maximum growth of 1.4 - 2.5 m, and a thick growth habitat, it's ideal for dense hedging, (shorter) windbreaks, contrast or layered planting or specimen planting. Abelia is hardy and tolerant to poorer soils, looking great planted out as a lower hedge layered in front of taller plants in the garden. For hedging, we recommend spacing plants 800mm apart for the most effective result.
Hardy, frost & wind tolerant. Most well drained soils. Full sun or part shade.
