Evergreen climber/rambler. Deep purple flowers during warmer months. Well drained drier position protected from frost & strong wind.  Full sun.  Ideal as a large specimen or backdrop.  Can be grown on a trellis or over a wall as a feature.  Prolific flowers.  Some pruning will be required to ensure a compact growth habit but the effort is rewarded with a mass of spring & summer colour when the plant is in flower.
