The Jade Plant or Money Tree is a gorgeous evergreen succulent, which is one of the most popular indoor plant varieties. In many cultures the Jade plant is considered to bring exceeding good luck and prosperity, and the thick, fleshy, shiny oval leaves do seem to lend themselves to an 'abundant' kind of personality. The foliage ranges in colour from dark, jade green in the shade, to reddish tones when exposed to more sunlight.

Infrequent pink flowers appear on healthy plants in some summers, although it typically does not occur annually. Forgiving and low care, these resilient and hardy givers are happy indoors and out, however if indoors he prefers a bright spot. The unique growth habit on this happy little guy is a little like a bonsai, with branches thickening over time creating a miniature tree effect. The Money Tree can adapt to full fun, however it requires gradual acclimation to full sun other wise the leaves will burn. Plants in full sun develop a stunning reddish hue.

Drought tolerant. Well drained soils. Can adapt to full sun over time; prefers part shade, full shade or bright indoor light.
