Commonly known as Purple Fountain Grass, this evergreen grows to 1.4 metres high, and up to 1 metre wide. Large cream spikes of yellow flowers bloom frequently throughout the year, while the rich purple and green speared foliage is eye-catching year-round.

This large ornamental is ideal for a bushland setting, rockeries, Zen styles, modern gardens, and contrast. Aptly named, Fountain Grass moves gently in the wind, even emitting a very peaceful 'rustling' sound. An impressive and effective addition to any garden!
