This rain-forest canopy tree has truly stunning broadleaf glossy foliage in deep green tones, while in the warmer months the clusters of fragrant white star flowers release a beautiful, sweet fragrance similar to a gardenia flower. The yellow-brown edible fruits are a traditional bush-tucker; they follow on from the flowering season and are ready to enjoy when soft.
Growing up to 5 - 6m high and 2 - 4 m wide, this understory plant is low maintenance and easy to grow. Ideal for tropical landscaping, feature planting, and container planting. Plant somewhere close to the home where you can enjoy the sweet fragrance of the flowers!
