Common Name: Stonecrop, Amur Stonecrop
Availabilty: Out of Stock ENQUIRE NOW
The Stonecrop is a evergreen succulent with unique glossy, bright green, waxy foliage bearing attractive scalloped edges. Bright yellow, star-shaped cacti flowers appear prolifically over the plant from spring to late summer, or even autumn in ideal conditions. This small, low spreading succulent ground cover has a mounding habit, offering a lot of versatility with planting options and creating quite the 'wow' factor when planted en masse.
Reaching 80 - 100 mm tall and growing 200 - 2500 mm wide this cheery little fellow is ideal for rock gardens, low borders, utilised as a groundcover, container planting, mixed succulent arrangements, hard to grow hot/dry areas and mixed beds. Did we mention that he's hardy to drought and heat, super low maintenance and low care as well? Some will even plant out the Stonecrop in between paving stones to beautiful result. Tough, drought tolerant, easy care... where do we sign up? Would we be too bold to say ''Winner, winner, chicken dinner?''... because we think the Stonecrop is a crowd-pleaser!
Frost sensitive. Drought & heat tolerant. Most well drained soils. Full sun to part/light shade.
